dual exhaust

ok so not sure if its been done but i was wondering if it would be possible to run each rotor in my motor on its own exhaust. will this cause like back pressure issues? oh sound like pure ****? just kinda wanting to experiment. its my first 7 and im just tryin to see what there is to do to it to make it more unique

Racing Beat has sold a dual exhaust for years that doesn't meet until the the axle for the 1st gens. A brave few have run duals all the way back, but space gets very tight for piping and mufflers from the axle back. Sound wise, don't have an answer for that .

you wont have any issues because the RB true dual exhaust is designed for the FC

Didn't realize this was for a 2nd gen and RB didn't use to offer a true dual for the FC. Since it has no cat or pre-silencer, it will be louder than thier single. How much, you may need to ask somone to post a sound clip.

Loud, heavy, and no y-pipe....well, it's shaped like a "Y", but it's made from two separate pipes.
Here's a link; sorry, I never took pics of it from below, and I sold the FC about two years ago.

http://www.mazdatrix.com/r-ex86nt.htm

if ya scroll down about 1/2 way, there's a clear pic of the 'road race y pipe'.

Something to think about is the fact that a single weighs a lot less than true duals. One thing I remember about the RB's was that they were actually heavier than the stock exhaust.

..another thing I remember was the sound they made from 6k up at WOT...
