It depends on the build of the person and their preferred seat position. Those who have long legs and a reclined seat will probably do just fine as long as their knees clear the steering wheel. Those who have a long torso and upright seat angle will hit their heads on the roof. It's best just to test drive one to check the fit. Cars equipped with a sun roof have 0.4" less head room when the roof is closed.

I'm 5'3 and hit my head... I'm cursed with being long in the torso and like to sit up.... Not to mention I'm a big guy... I hate to see what it looks like with my short fat body trying to get out... Look like the circus came to town....

Yes, I have Momo 1000 Lakes seats in my 88 coupe. Other popular brands are Sparco, Corbeau, Bride, Kirkey, and Recaro. Some models don't fit, so if you are considering aftermarket seats then you should Search the 2nd Gen section using the brand or model name as the search key. Be careful of Ebay knock-offs.

Im 6'-2" as well and at 290lbs im a pretty hefty guy but i fit into my 85 GS FB pretty well with the seat reclined...even had to pull the seat forward a notch
