dowel pin oil leak maybe?
I just bought my first RX7 not too long ago and it had been sitting for a while. Started right up with cleaned terminals and a charged battery. Once I started driving around for the first week I noticed oil leaking. I changed the oil pan gasket and i still saw it leaking. Finally I pin pointed it to coming from where the "12a" was. After some research I'm guessing it a dowel pin leak but I was just wondering what exactly I would need to properly fix this, I know nothing about rotary motors. How long would this take and is it possible to do it in my garage myself?

Make sure it is just not the two o-rings under the oil filter pedestal. They often dry out and leak.
If it real is a dowel pin leak, the only way to fix it is to disassemble the engine and rebuild it.

Ok yea sounds like I could do it then. What would I have to order? I saw pineapple racing had a water seal kit that came with a bunch of stuff including dowel pin o rings and it was only 185. Also is the omp block off plate the same for first gens as it is for 86-88 n/a. I was thinking about premixing.
