Cruise Control stock as multi-purpose switch?
This has probably been done before, but I figured I'd ask for more information before I rip my hair out trying to understand the FSM.
So essentially, my FC (s4 T2) has the cruise control option that isn't functional right now (previous owner probably messed around with it), and I was planning on adding a Wideband and 2step but needed an oem switch location and what better than a functionless cruise control stock with 3 functions? I'd want the Wideband to be a switched 12v but not to the ignition because sometimes I enter ign2 to defog my windshield for a minute before I leave and don't want to damage the sensor.
Has anyone already used the cruise control stock as a switch for 2-step or gauges, and if so, any easily understandable wiring diagram or guide to doing it?
Cheers!
