1987 Cruise Control doesn't work
I have a 1987 non-turbo and the cruise control doesn't work. The switch works as I have power to the actuator. I don't know what process to use to check the rest as I don't have an ACC checker. The wiring diagram doesn't show what voltages are supposed to be at what point during different switch positions.
I could trouble shoot by part(s) replacement but that gets expensive.
Appreciate any help.

Mine is a standard 5 speed, like yours. The vacuum hose looks good. Is there some way to test the vacuum system? The trouble shooting chart for the cruise control in my shop manual doesn't even mention the vacuum for the cruise control. I believe the problem relates to either the cruise control unit or the actuator but without the ACC checker I can't figure out voltage is suposed to be on what connector pins under what conditions of the switch.
