coolant issue

1. Raise front of car so higher than rear.
2. Remove rad cap.
3. Heater: full blast, set to hot
4. fill with coolant.
5. run engine.
6. watch pretty bubbles pop and gurgle at radiator opening.
7. run for 15min at idle, top off as necesarry.
8. put cap on rad.
9. lower car

At least on the 1993 and newer models, the coolant level in the filler neck will always drop a few mm after the cap is removed, but that is normal. Otherwise, yes both should be full.
