cat converter

What do you do with the hose that hooks to the tube that goes to the cat,after you remove the cat? It is a 82 fb.

You removed the cat? What happened to the air pump? Air is pumped to the cat via that tube, so it depends on whether the air pump is functioning still. If not, yank the tube and cap the part of the manifold where it attached to. If you've still got the air pump working, just get another 3-way cat and return the system back to stock cleaning ability. Rotaries are horrific HC spewers without that system.
