bumpy ride on the highway!

everytime im on the highway, even if im going round 60-70 or more the car starts shaking and the ride starts getting bumpy, so i was thinking it might be the tire rods since it was shaking so bad, or suspension but i dont really think so.

Any help id appreciate it

Sounds like your tires might need to be balanced.

What car do you have? Is it stock?

This place is somewhat nearby you if you need a rotary specialist to check out the car http://www.pfsupercars.com/

Doubtful. Its definitely not the tie rods.
What rims, tires and suspension are on the car?

have you checked your tires? my DD did this and all it needed was balancing, took it to a tire shop and boom no more vibration.

Deffinately a balancing problem..
have you hit any major pot holes? could be a buckle that you wouldnt really notice at lower speeds..

it would be more than worth it to take it to the tyre place (EDIT: That you got them fitted) and give these symptomns to them, theyll soon sort you out, and for free i should hope!

sounds like a balancing problem or could be a bent wheel. Take it to a tire shop and have them check it out..
