NJ Best OIL!?!?!?!?!

Felow RXers,
I have been reading alot of what type of oil would be best BUT, still have no real answer (only concluded SYN might not be good for the ROTOR??)... Being that I live in N NJ I do encounter all four seasons. So I am still wondering would 10W-40 be the best with a bridge port, or in general for the conditions I live under? Any assistance would be greatly appriciated.

Thanx in advance.

welcome to the board.

bridge port, eh?

if it were me with a self-imposed mineral oil limit, i'd probably run 10W40 in the winter (if i drove it in the winter) and a straight 30- or 40-weight in the summer. others may feel differently.

my advice would be keep an open mind and read up some more - especially on the "synthetic"-thing.

Q. What kind of oil should I run in my 1st Gen?
A. That's a good question that's been asked a million-bazzillion times
Check out the OIL which brands burn good and which don't? thread. Speaking of oil,
