BC best automatic fd mods

Just curious what performance mods other auto fd owners are making, and can the transmission handle it?

Without being Rude, the best modification you can do to an Auto FC is turn it into a 5 speed.

not rude at all!, i cut off a couple of fingers on my shifting hand at work a few years ago, the less i use it the less it hurts. I used to ride a sport quad and had to stop because of pain, i still like to go fast, but to honest im not going in any races. I was just curious.

We recently bought an automatic FD, it will be staying that way.

As 93autoFdTO4Z said, one of the best things you could do is install the Apexi Power FC with our adapter harness, this allows for the installation of every HP mod that the manual trans cars have.

We will be creating a build thread after we get a chance to dyno tune the car.

What we have done so far:
Power FC and Banzai Adapter
4.33 Rear gears
850/1300cc injectors
Denso Supra Pump
SMIC
Koyo N-flo
Full exhaust
Greddy Intake
Simplified Sequential Vacuum

Trans has held all the power during street tuning.

I've been on here, lurking, for almost a year and I ended up buying a completely stock automatic FD recently (still is). From the list Banzai-Racing has on their automatic FD, I never knew how limited they would be (not that I love my car any less!).

Besides the aftermarket radiator (always says "M/T only" on the websites), I didn't think there would be any problems with just bolting on the reliability mods. I'll definitely be doing more of what 93autoFdTO4z stated!

The auto is not limited, we could bolt on a single turbo if we wanted to, but we already have a 20b FD, so we do not need another mega-HP car. This will be near 400whp without sacrificing low end torque.

The Koyo can be installed in the auto....

This is awesome! I will be following your build! I have your adapter now, and saving for the power fc. How much of difference do the gears make? better response off the line?

Sorry, I guess, that's where I used the term, "limited" incorrectly.

I'm assuming what I misread is that the automatic ecu adapter harness is what is needed to install the apexi power FC to an automatic. And by doing this it helps by maintaining the "hold" feature and other automatic features correctly.

Thanks for the tip on the Koyo! Do you guys sell everything on your list from your website? I'll probably pick a few things up from you guys.

The Manual trans cars are just as "limited" they also need an EMS to install anything more than an intake, DP & catback same as the Auto cars.

A healthy auto trans will support over 400whp, there are people that have been doing it for years.

The auto works great for me on the street, it's nice in the city. And if I am driving a little more aggressively through corners I can use the hold button to hold that gear right up to red line. It is a different experience, I don't intend to track it, it suits my needs!
