ok so while im doing the body work on the red s4 i picked up a s4 track car which im going to run around in and then swap all the running gear into the red one
the track car has
extended port on rebuilt motor
stock turbo ported wastegate
1000cc rochester injectors x2
wolf 3d v4 ecu unsure of tune
3.5 dump pipe to y pipe then out back to magna flow muffler
with decat pipe
and a 700hp fuel pump

but it has been sitting for two years

now problem is the car is hard to start cold have to swap plugs out and when it does start it backfires when it hits boost sounds like a shotgun please help with ideas as i have just spent alot of money on this car and cant figuge it out
and i want to get out on some cruses

 

Honestly, sounds like a crappy tune. I might be able to tell you what's wrong if you post the map, but it has been a LONG time (thankfully) since I have looked at a Wolf.

Most likely your ECU is not tuned properly...worst case senerio you have busted Apex seal :/ ...at what RPM does it backfire and does it let your RPMs climb as it pops? (Dont get worried i doubt its a bad seal if its a fresh rebuild but it is a possibility if they didnt build it right...)
