im swaping out a engine and trans to a 1980 from a 1982 and the trans shifterpoints arnt the same how is it possible that the trans are different and what do i do to avoid swaping out the trans????????

 

just use the trans from your 80....

 

there seem to be alot of differences bettween the 80and the 82 why is that i didnt think there was much change in that time frame?


does anyone know where to find engine mounts for swap engines besides other rotories like 350's or other engines or do i have to make them ?

 

That last question is best asked and answered in the 'Other Engine Conversions' sub-forum. There are kits available for many different engine swaps, if that's the route you choose to go.
