AFR Guage
Hey everyone, I have a 12A with a Weber IDF40 and Garret turbo; I would like to add an A/F ratio gauge. My issue is, I don't want to install two gauges, one for each intake. I'm only considering installing two, to be sure A/F mixes are the same. Am I going overkill, or are two guages reasonable?

Afr's are measured after the Turbo,so you only need the One gauge.
It should be installed about 30 inches after the turbo, ideally to get accurate readings. If you install closer then it can damage the sensor(burn it out).

AFR readings on a turbo rotary are NOT optional! I'm actually quite surprised the engine has survived with that volatile combination this long without any type of AFR feedback for the tuner. Reading plugs and EGTs is all well and good but that will only tell you that the engine has been running lean, not that it is running lean.
