'88 starter resistance
Hey guys. Just picked up an '88, been sitting in a field for close to a decade. First thing I did, threw a booster pack (50A at least) on the batt, cleaned all the grounds, took appart the starter to check the brushes, and broke the alt. adjustment bolt in the housing yay.
Anyways, go to crank, it just clicks over. I'll jump it and sometimes it'll engage, but doesn't seem to have enough juice to turn the engine over, which isn't carbon locked. Hook the starter up to the booster and it spins, but it seems slow (no torque). Question is, before I get myself a new starter, which I have to order because no one sells them locally for this car, does anyone have the armature and coil resistance values I can check by hand?
