87 rx7 turbo trans install/ flywheel questions

my car 87 rx7 n/a, i baught a turbo 2 trans and flywheel and clutch.
what else should i need to install this transmission in my car.
will i have problems with drive shaft or drive shaft yoke?
where can i get a slave cylinder for it?

Flywheel counter weight? what does this do, i have the 318 flywheel 86-88 turbo car flywheel, which counter weight should i buy? can i use the one from my 87 n/a vehicle.

rear main seal replacment. is there any special procedure to do this on the rx7. anything i should know before i attack it. special bolts or what not. i am a mechanic but never worked on any type of rx7 before, this is my first one. i figured while the flywheel was off would be a good time to replace the seal.

any advice is much welcomed.

welcome to the board.

i don't have all the answers you seek, but i'll start you off with the ones i do have.

1. replacing the rear main seal is no big deal once you have the flywheel off. you simply pry/pull the old one out, put a thin coat of oil on the new one and install it. i use the old seal and a light rubber mallet.

2. you should be able to get a slave cylinder at any local auto parts store.

3. if your flywheel is a stock T2 flywheel, then you can't (shouldn't) use it with your engine because the rear counterweight is built in and it will be out of balance. if you're using an aftermarket flywheel, then you get the rear counterweight from the automatic version of your engine series and bolt the flywheel to it. this maintains the balance. for safety's sake, you should get the bolts from Mazda or upgrade with ARPs. you don't want to get it wrong with these bolts!!!

4. as for the driveshaft question, this is the one i'm not too sure about. i think the T2 driveshafts are different from the N/A ones. in which case, you should just get a T2 shaft. however, you'll need to double check that (one of the Gen II guys should chime in) because as i said, i'm not sure.
