86 n/a need help

Hey I’m justin I’m from New Jersey and I recently brought a fc running but in order to have it idling I have to keep revving it to operating temperature not really sure what the guy did to it before me cause he brought it at action supposedly rebuilt engine anyways would love to solve that problem out idk if he deleted the cold start assist would also like to know where to find a wiring diagram of the engine harness

Hi, obviously check if he removed the cold start, the spark plugs, check the IAC valve, the TPS and the throttle itself thru the screw on the top of the intake, should be at 750 rpm at least. Those procedures are easy to find on YouTube.

Also check the oil level and state, but I assume that you already did that.
Btw the cold start doesn’t do his thing if you are pressing the clutch with a gear on.
