Need help on engine wiring harness on 85gslse

Need someone to help me out on some problems with my wiring engine will kick after 4000rpm

the car will also not turn off!!! lol with keys out and battery disconnected

the igintion switch may be the root of the issue with the engine not turning off. does the vehicle's power turn on and off with the key? more info on this 4000rpm issue please. i have an entire SE harness on the shelf if you need pics

IM stationed in Camp lejeune, Nc is i have a wire harness from my parts car but all the wires dont match up... is the ignition switch the little black boxes on the distributor?? it also backfires a **** load when starting up and suggestions
