Ok so basically up until about the last week or so the car has ran fine, it started to get a rough bouncing idle and has just gotten progressively worse, it drives normal at 3k rpms and higher, now it won’t idle at all and just dies if I’m not giving it gas. Sometimes it will keep it self up when it drops to around 300 rpms and then it catches itself and raises back up to around 900 but if it doesn’t it will die, I replaced the spark plugs and we tried to listen but did not hear any noticeable vacuum leaks, I am changing the fuel filter later today to see if that helps, what do you guys think?

this sounds like a vacuum leak.

listening for one is not a reliable way of finding it. you should use carburetor cleaner or something, but of course, since it doesn't idle, you will need someone else to help you.

it could be anything, but just FYI, there is a relatively large hose at the back of the manifold (near where the engine and tranny come together), check that one.
