wont idle

wont idle

I can only stay in idle with my choke out other wise my car just stalls?

Maybe adjust the idle screw? Its above the A/F mixure screw a lil to the right. Turn it to the right to raise idle Or clean the carb and reset the floats

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check your vacuum hoses. Make sure none are disconnected. Check this large hose also if your car is an 81-85 12A.
