5th and 6th port actuators

My actuators on my GSL-SE wont open, at first i thought they were seized so i cleaned them but then i realized there was no hoses or anything connected to them. Is there supposed to be? And if so were do they come from and go?
Thanks
Shea

I believe it is the same as with the S4 actuators, which are fed through two small holes in the LIM. The actuators have gaskets that seal them against the LIM surface, and there is a metal hardline running around the back side that feeds them from the split air pipe.

If the actuators move freely when pressed by hand, you may need to look into an alternative activation method. My S4 NA's ports never opened properly; even when I had the stock exhaust system. My solution was an air pump fed system that was controlled by an RPM switch and a solenoid. I have a writeup on it here: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/activating-aux-ports-vdi-rpm-switches-907824/.

Yes, if you want to sacrifice low-end torque. There's a reason the ports stay closed until 3800 RPM.
