first rx7 need help
i just baught an 88 fc gxl. the car has alot of little issues but ive never owned an rx7 so i have no clue on where to look. the car has kei office coil overs and is very very low using wheels that are 17x9 +0.there has been dtss eliminators installed also. the engine seems stock and is a 5speed. some of my concerns are idle is a little rough but is very responsive. i hear a clicking in the front when i hit the brakes. the rear seems to howl some and axles may click some. what should i look at is there a manual that will help me figure out these problems as i want to fix alot of the issues with the car and also do some more upgrading? do i need to pre mix?

Well, sounds, noises and clicks are the usual with these cars, I bought my 87 Turbo II 4 years ago. Always has noises lol..but anyways your rough idle? Is this a cold start? Can you describe the rough idle?

Here is a link to the service manual:

If you still have your oil metering pump operational there is no need to premix.
These cars always come with some sort of noise coming from somewhere... however this doesn't mean it is normal. I recommend getting the car on a lift or on jacks, take all the wheels off, and INSPECT EVERYTHING.

the car does idle rough when cold and seems to take awhile to warm up but when warm the motor shakes and has a slight idle roughness especially when the clutch is not depressed
