4 port vs. 6 port 13B for rally racing?
welcome to the board.
i'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but i don't see one being any better than the other ... to a point. for relatively low power (which i will define as 200 HP or less) there will be differences, but in my opinion, not terribly significant differences. however, for anything more than that, i would lean more toward the 4 port because race porting or turbocharging would be involved - peripheral ports aside, of course
. the 4 ports show an advantage in those circumstances.
ultimately, it will come down to venue rules and/or level of competition though.

Thank you. I currently have a 4-port motor with Hitachi carb in the rally car but when I bought it, it came with a Holley 600 and a Weber Side-Draft both with intakes for a 6 port. Since I'm leaning toward staying with the 4-port and going with a Nikki anyway this answers my question...
