OH 3rd Gen Motor help

Hello Im from the ohio area and i just got a 3rd gen Motor for free. But Here are the problems. The motor has blown apex seals, So my question is. Would it be worth to fix the motor or should i just trash it. Also if i keep the motor where is there a good shop to take this to for a rebuild

Depends on how the apex seals broke, how worn the hard parts were before the seals went, and what are your expectations for the rebuilt motor.

Apex seals will damage the surrounding housings when they break. How much depends partly on luck and the nature of what caused the seal to break. You won't know for sure how many hard parts are usable until it's pulled apart.
