Let's hear some opinions, facts are not a necessity...

I like Racing Beat, the have really clean, subtle exhaust systems if you're into that look. The new headers will add a little more rasp to your exhaust note from what I've heard. Definitely not a bad choice.

Exhaust

You're going to have to but a header from someone to upgrade. Everything else can be done by your local exhaust shop. I'm doing exhaust on my 12a this summer. I'll be putting on a racing beat header, and two Dynomax super turbo mufflers (they're cheap and flow great). My local shop can weld the whole system together and make it look good for less than $100.

Racing Beat has been around forever and sells excellent products. I have an RB header and presilencer on my 83 GSL and an RB downpipe and presilencer on my 87 Turbo. I am very satisfied with both.

Racing Beat makes the best systems on the market in my opinion. I'd use the 2" headers down to two 2" side by side pre silencers, merging just before the diff and then over or under diff into the R B rear muffler. Huge power gains can be made using this setup, those parts from Racing Beat can be expensive tho.
Down here in NZ we just copy the racing beat designs and make our own. Just remember what ever mufflers use use make sure they are packed with stainless steel and very high temp steel wool

The Racing Beat exhaust system is a well worth application to buy. I would go with it.
