2nd gen head light question

2nd gen head light question

im new to rx7s and i seen alot of pic where the head lights are half open. how to you adjust them to do that?

remove the fuse for the headlights, and manually turn the motor till there where you want them and your done

You take the Headlight retractor fuse out and adjust them Manually with the Manual **** under each motor.
Do not try to do this with power ON the motors.
The downside of doing this is that you cannot just flip them up to "so far" and then put them back down as you will not have power to the Headlight retractor motors.
The motors operate either to put them UP or take them Down..no In between.
..The other alternative is to get a "headlight pivot controller" off E-Bay.This device,I have heard is supposed to allow the Headlights to go into "sleepy Eye mode".
Personally,the only thing I want to look "stoned" is ME!, and not my Car!..(if I was into that!)

I'd actually been wondering about that too. I've been doing some checking around on ebay but I haven't found anything like you were describing Styx. I really dont think I'd use something like that but ever since I started messing with cars, headlights have always been a favorite to tinker with. My dad told me I've bought more headlight bulbs than he's bought in his life once, and even now I've got myself about ten HID ballasts.
