1st gen radio wiring

So bit of an odd case here. I've got a 1985 S, and I have access to a clarion fa55 66 870b, and a clarion fa59 66 870b. I've got, what I think is, a full wiring harness including the joystick, and the wiring harness that was in the car when I bought it. The plugs on the back of both stereos have a 6 pin din to the amps but none of the plugs or ends on either wiring harnesses have any 6 pin dins. The long cable, seeming to be the one that goes up to the stereo have 8 pins. Am I missing an adapter piece or part of the harness or even part of the stereo?

These are the plugs on the long end of the cable, looks like the ones that plug into the amps

This is the plug at the back of both stereos labeled as 'to rear amp/front amp'
