CA 1990 Convertible electrical issues

Newbie for technical questions here about my vert. I've managed to go 4 years without a manual, but have a cpl of electrical issues I need to address. Tonight, I went to turn the lights off and the lids did not close. The lights work just fine, so I'm assuming there's a relay that operates the headlights. A little help in diagnosing this would help.
Also, my headrest speakers do not work most of the time. I replaced the switch in the console, that didn't help. Once in a while I look down and the lights are lit up for the speakers and surround button and they work. I'm guessing a bad power wire but need an idea where to begin.
Thanks for any help and guidance!

Concerning the headlights, look at the Retractor fuse and Head fuse in the engine fuse box to see if either one is blown or not.
