Alright so to start this off I just bought a 1988 RX7 GXL model about a month ago. Today both windows worked completely fine. Today at the time the passenger window button to put it down and up was working great. It would put the passenger window up and down perfectly. I was in the car and we were driving had both windows down and the driver turned on and off the power on/off button on the driver side. After that, the passenger window control would not work. However, the button to control the passenger window on the drivers side still works. The drivers side controls can put up/down the passenger window and drivers window perfectly. Although, the passenger control for the passenger window does not put it up or down anymore. Not sure how to fix this hopefully some knowledgeable people out there can help. Thanks!

 

UP front, it was difficult reading your post ... so many words used over and over loo.... to confirm, your driver side switch works and the passenger side does not right? Try taking apart your passenger side switch and cleaning the contacts. It is extremely simple and just gotta be careful lifting it out of its home.
