1985 mazda rx7 RPM meter stop working.

My 1985 Mazda rx7 RPM meter suddenly stop working. Have any body gone thru this problem ? How can i correct this issue ?

The signal for the tach comes from the trailing ignition coil. Check the connections and make sure you have spark on the trailing system.

Also check your grounds, in old cars like that so many electrical problems can be solved by checking your grounds and cleaning them if necessary
