1985 mazda rx7 RPM meter stop working.
 

My 1985 Mazda rx7 RPM meter suddenly stop working. Have any body gone thru this problem ? How can i correct this issue ?

The signal for the tach comes from the trailing ignition coil. Check the connections and make sure you have spark on the trailing system. :)

Also check your grounds, in old cars like that so many electrical problems can be solved by checking your grounds and cleaning them if necessary
