IL 13b Center housing removal trouble

My motor shot a water jacket so I am in the process of taking my motor apart in order to rebuild it. I got the flywheel rear housing and rear rotor and housing off. But I can't figure out how to get the center housing off of the e-shaft, it is completely unbolted and I have the dowel pins removed but I can't get it over the rear rotor lobe.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Did you remove the front hub bolt, hub assembly, front cover and all the stuff on the front of the eccentric? If so, then you have to lift the shaft up about 2" and angle the iron off of it (this requires another person). If you are alone then you can lift the eccentric out and the middle iron off at the same time. Just be careful.

Here's an engine disassembly:

My compressor and impact gun aren't powerful enough to knock the front pully bolt loose. Is there any way around this or do I need to find a friend with a bigger compressor?

Heat with a torch then impact.
Or make a flywheel holder, a long breaker bar, and have a friend or two to hold the block down.

Let me clarify, you're heating it because ithe bolt is installed with with loctite. You have to heat the loctite to get it to release. Don't want you going and attacking your block with a flamethrower just cause I said so.

As others have mentioned, heat to soften the Loctite and then give it a go.

I take it you did not follow the factory procedures in the FSM or Haynes manual on engine disassembly then? As this is your first time, it pays to RTFM before starting work.

For reference, the front hub captures two torrington bearings with a plate between them that holds the eccentric in position laterally. No way to get the eccentric out without removing the hub, all the stuff on the front of the eccentric, and the torrington bearings above and below the plate on the front stationary gear.

The video I posted covers it.
