FC N/A bad coolant leak from bell housing.

I've got a 87 n/a that I just replaced a small coolant line that goes from the throttle body to the block. Now I have a massive coolant leak coming the bottom of the hell housing and running off the bottom of the transmission. All I can think of is maybe a freeze plug on the back iron? Any other options? If it is a freeze plug, does that require you to pull the engine or is there a cheap way out? Thanks in advanced!

A freeze plug on the rear iron is a possibility. You would need to remove the transmission and flywheel to get access, and then a new one could be pressed in.

Could it be that the coolant hose replacement was messed up? Hole in the hose? Loose clamp? Rusted out nipple?
