yes yes I used to have it incar on the dash but I've got busted twice already. So now I just have it mounted in stock location but hanging down. I don't like anymore since it does cover up the rad. Where do you guys mount your plates? I was thinking putting it on the side front ducts but I'd have to conjure some mounting brackets up. I would like to see how you guys mount up your lic plates =o]

Bend the **** out of it and **** up some of the mounting holes... Then flatten it out, place it face down on the asphalt and put a wheel on top of it. Dump clutch...
When pulled over, your new excuse is you got into a wreck last week, the car just got out of the body shop, and you're waiting for the DMV to send you a replacement.
This obviously only works if you display it in your windshield.

I used to keep my license plate on the dash but i got a ticket for that. Then i asked around and got some good information. There are a lot of other states that don't require a front license plate. So, don't put it on your dash, that pretty much gives you away. Put it next to your seat in your car. Mines all bent up and my excuse will be that i had it on there with zip-ties and one day it flew off. Cops never can see the front of your car and the back at the same time. If you get pulled over they rarely walk all the way around your car to check for a front plate. I've been pulled over twice without a front plate and the cop never noticed. When i got caught with it on my dash, a cop was standing next to my car and waited for me to get in and turn the car on so he could "pull me over" It's a load of crap either way, if you do get a ticket, put the plate on the front, take a picture and go to court and it will be excused.

I have the same problem her in Md. When i got my intercooler i just used the stock bracket that usually sits in the middle of the bumper right above the main center opening and drilled holes in the underside of the bumper and mounted it there between my lip and bumper. Here is a pic, doesnt look the best but it didnt destroy my bumper and does the job.

Guys: i've noticed that when you mount/place it on your dash, it draws attention to cops. I keep mine under my passenger floor mat, and if I get pulled over I say one of two things. "officer, I had no idea that you needed to mount a license on the front of the vehicle" or "I have it here officer, I actually have an appointment tomorrow to have it mounted"
Its worked, not saying it will for you guys. I'd take my chances because who wants to display a plate on the front of their REX. And you'd be surprised, I bet more people get pulled over for placing it in their dash than simply hiding it for the pull-over occasion.
Good Luck

Step A : carry 2 bolts with you
Step B : Exit car, with license plate in hand
Step C : Bolt it to the car, while you are parked.
Step D : Come out..unbolt..drive away with FMIC opening and no ticket..

i have a FC guys and what i did was fab up a mounting braket for my plate .however its mounted were the stock ones would be 'center' and what i did was remake it so it does a hide away bracket. mine sadly is 15 bucks custom made by me and a run to home depot sorry i dont have pics of it, but thats how i was able to get around that problem. i push it up when i dont want it, and push it down when i need to park. hope that will give you another way to your issue GL!
