Well the winter is right around the corner so this means I will be returning to my evil laboratory(Garage) to brew up something for the spring.
Basically I’m going to make my current FD a full duty track car. Full cage, much larger turbo, TEC3, possibly a solid ford 9in out back, but that’s all immaterial
Basically I’m just wondering if anyone knows about any that aren’t on the forum, autotrader, autoshopper, e-bay. I watch all of them daily. As far as condition (I know I’m going to get ripped on this one) I’m flexible. I would prefer one in full running/street order. But I could even go for a rolling chassis. I know their two opposite ends of the scale but I have no problem building up from a roller. I like the fact that will know everything I put into it, but having one all together is a much less time consuming event. I have most of the extras I could need. Haltech, current t04 setup, supra pump and all the basics.
For a rolling chassis with salvage title I’m figuring 1,500-2k, clean title roller 3k,
All together no mod’s higher mileage 7-8k, all together w/not horrible miles some mods or a fresher engine 10-13k
The more I keep typing the more im leaning towards a roller with clean title, or a car that’s all there. I know of a few that fit my criteria, but it seems that the people want more then I think its worth for that car, or its in much worse condition for the dollar.
Thanks for any leads
