Hey all I'm looking to do a little meet in upstate CT I am located in the Greater Hartford area and would like to gauge some interest in members of the forum or otherwise who would also enjoy an upstate CT meet. Feel free to post up ideas for location I know of a dam that is up this way with a nice ride, view and a spacious parking area. Post up your thoughts.

I can possibly make it to the meet, as long as i have finished some engine work that needs to be done. would you be talking about windsor locks damn on RT219? if so that is really close to where I Reside.

Cool I'm liking the responses so far. I do not have a date and time or location for this meet yet I would like some input from our members so at least some of VMRC can attend this meet and greet. Hopefully we can shoot for July or maybe since Rotormania is postponed later this month. Last monday night at a local cruise night I met a nice guy named Hector who owns a green REPU and has some friends with old school rotaries deuces, 3s, a 4 and a few 7s, so hopefully we can get a good crowd. The cruise night is a really cool place to be it takes place on Mondays from 6-9pm at Marks Auto Parts in E Granby off rt 20. I intend on being there next Monday as long as the weather is nice with my 79 I was there last week and met Hector and for 2 weeks running there has been a yellow 3rd gen in attendance, as well as 600-800 other cars on average. So those of you that want to attend Monday we can caravan into the lot that is if you are local and interested in a mini meet at the cruise night for now until we can plan the actual upstate CT meet.

hey guys whats the deal on this. I am will be out of town for the 4th of july, hopefully this happens afterword.

 

there is also a classic meet that happens on monday nights in east granby right off of rt 20, i know some guys with 7's go to that too

 

87 FC3S Is that the one at Marks Auto Parts because thats the one that I am speaking of there is no official meet scheduled as of yet but anyone who would like to get together and hand out can certainly come to Marks Auto Parts On Monday Night From 5-9pm Hopefully some nice weather is in store for us next week and I can meet some of you out there.

 

ya thats the one i havent been there yet, but i plan on stopping by this monday after i get out of work since i'm right around the corner on bradley park rd.

 

I'm down for a gathering in that area. It has to be closer for me than Bridgeport. I know Hector,and talk with him often enough. He has the same truck as mine only his is a 75 I think. Very nice guy,and his truck is very nice as well. Give me a time,and date,and I will see if I can make it.

This Monday Night Coming Up Hopefully will be rain free I will be attending if so I was not able to go yesterday. This monday coming up the event starts at 5pm til around 9pm I will attend Oh Mazdax605 its alot closer to you than bridgeport about an hour closer. Also guys Rotormania is coming up on August 1st I want to put a caravan together to head out there to Thomaston from out this way anyone who wants to join up for that is also welcome.
