Thumbs up All Rx7s In or around Albany Area

Hi my name is Jason I have owned Rx7s since 1998
I currently have a 1989 GTU and im looking to add some more Rx7s to my group and make new friends. I have been on this form for awhile now everyone seems to be miles away from me. So if you have a Rx7,or A Rx8 any year I love them all post here and let yourself be found. I have a nice size garage and hang with many clubs in the area so a meet is in the Works!

Will be attending school @ SUNY Onenta. Plan on bringing the 7 there for the remaining few weeks of spring semester, and first few weeks of fall semester (maybe)

Maybe we can meet up.

When not in school I am in the Poughkeepsie area... which is not too far.

Lol... remove tranny harness and sensors, etc. Remove slave cyl. Remove start. Remove driveshaft and exhaust. Remove tranny. Replace release and pilot bearings + seal. Replace clutch, resurface flywheel. Have fun putting it all back together :P

I go to school in Troy, at RPI, I'll have my RX7(89 GXL) there as soon as the auto-x season starts up in the spring... otherwise I live a little more than an hour away from Albany. I've been looking for some other rotor heads around Albany.

I'm in the slow process of picking up my '87 n/a SE. 96,000 orig miles, needs a little body work and a clutch. I've owned nothing but SR20 powered cars before this for the most part. The Se isn't all that fast but, it's a good chance to pick up a classic sports car for cheap. I'm def looking forward to cruising w/ some people.

A buddy of mine is thinking of either going t78 or R85 for his FD.

Are you running stock ports? More info on your car please...maybe even some pics.

I am in the Poughkeepsie area, when my car is running (finishing up a TII swap + haltech into 88 base) we will have to swing by the local hang outs and have some fun.

What advance auto do you work @ ? I live 5 min from HVCC and will be there next week for classes. Look for the white NX, then look for the arctic silver RX when spring starts :0) On a side note, ya know any mechanics that would do a clutch in the RX for a decent price ? thanks

Your funny Mono4lamar of course your 3rd gen is most likely faster then my
Type-R but for a N/A piston car to pull up on me they would get a surprise that was my point its my daily driver! Motego blue from factory? nice color

Hondaeat-R I work at the Advance Auto in Watervliet Ny, but I don't work on Tuesdays let me know what day you'll be around and ill let you know if im working.

If you want to see all my cars check my Cardomain garage out!

i know someone down by hvcc that would do a clutch at a decent price, he is usually very reasonable especially for any sports car. its in rotterdam/schenectady, like one exit down the through way. The shop is called inline performance and its number is 357 4100. Ask for Dave and tell him that Jay with the 3rd gen RX7 told you.

its address is 1809 Altamont Ave Schenectady NY 12303

Thanks a lot for the # i'll be sure to give him a call about it, might as well have him do the exhaust too since it'll come out anyways during the clutch....we'll see and thanks again.
