Well, i dont have a budget for that at the moment, maybe after a few installs/tunes, it all depends on what you want for it. Are you also looking to get tuned?

Do you have any idea about a date?

Not that kind of a date, like the days you will be in the area

Thanks,
James

Well, im thinking that the ideal thing to do will probably be work out of DRT Racing in Woodside, NY, im a friend of the owner and he said he'll let me use the dyno, we can set it up as dyno days, or by customer. We'll talk about those details soon enough.

If anybody thinks they can get a better deal that what DRT does for dyno time (i dont know the numbers yet) please feel free to find out and inform us.

Thanks a bunch guys, i hope this trip turns out to be a good one.

I will have to call Raphy on monday to find out what his prices are on dyno time, i dont know them. Maybe you guys can fill me in, he basically said that he can let me use the dyno no problem, as long as he's not using it. Which this time of year i hardly think they are. But i will post the details after i speak to him.

My tuning fee is 300 per car, and i normally like doing road tuning as well as dyno tuning. So i make sure the cars run nice, smooth, and the owner is happy with the results, and the dyno will ensure good power runs for the application, in a safe enviroment. I dont like to do full power runs on the street, specially on 350hp+ cars. Call it safety precautions.

Well if you're talking about retuning your car for better road use we can do that too, no big deal, i have my own wideband in case you dont, and normally i like to do it cause that way you know the car wont just be a dyno queen.

Thats cool, I figured you went another route which is by all means cool. But I dont blame ya for wanting to get the drivability gas hog thing taken care of.

the map i have is for "break in only" it gets me from A to B with some bad transitions from time to time. i would rather do the dyno tune for power and cure up the driveability after as you state you do for the package price.

I know a number of great areas to tune. Very very few cars (if any) and long straight roads. Take a look at the pics in this thread, these are great roads to tune if you need to on the street.

Mono, Magnus, 1nasty, i will do my best to try and hook up with you guys to tune your cars, so lets just wait for the date at hand, and as long as i have everybody's phone number i will give them a call as soon as i am in NY.

Nice streach of road anthony, only problem i see with that is battery power. Need to have the cigarette lighter working, bring an adapter, an inverter, an extra battery, etc., so we dont run out of laptop.

Thanks for the info.
