Just ordered my camera mount, but trust me, you could probably keep up by running next to my car around the track! lol...

Ernie, ever thought about doing Poconos International Raceway, Watkins Glen International or Lime Rock?

Poconos North would be the perfect setup for your big horsepower car once you've built up some experience and put on some good rubber.

Baby steps!! lol...I did order a set of Nitto NT-01's, set of Hawk Blues, braided brake lines, and new brake fluid.

Poconos North Course is the most baby steps of the bunch! More so than Summit Point!

A long banked super speedway tri-oval corner, braking zone, right hand kink, braking zone, right hander to short straight, braking zone, left hand hairpin to mini-straight into braking zone, right hander to left hand double apex sweeper (Even though I hug the corner instead, it's faster, but wears the tires more), to mini straight into braking zone to right hand sharp kink that empties out into the super speedway again.

It's a very easy track and is great for high HP cars.

NOOOOOO.......not the NT-01's!!!! Well, they're a fun tire, but I still think a street tire would've been the way to go as a learning tool. Baby steps, right? =P

The only reason why I'm adamant about that is that every instructor I've ever ridden with has always checked my car for street tires first, since they believe R-compounds will mask mistakes moreso than street tires.

I consider street tires to be anything above 140 treadwear. But, the NT-01's aren't as bad to learn on as say.....a Hoosier or a Kumho V710.

Hey guys, I've got big dealings at work that will preclude my being able to take off on Friday and/or instruct for this event.

Are you all going to be out there over the weekend for the Time Attack too?
