That would be very cool! For pricing, I think that reading the NoVa thread on their Steve Kan tuning weekend would be a good guideline for costs and tuning details. I was really impressed with the work that went into organizing that.

Money-wise it looks like $400 per car for Steve Kan, then money for the shop dyno (maybe Rx7DGS could find out about that from Dent Sport).
Someone needs to be in charge of the money aspect. Aside from getting five local people to commit to doing it, Steve Kan needs a $200 deposit to lock in the date ($40 each from the five tuning customers) and this is his schedule so far:

So I guess anyone who is definitely in, should post what kind of tune they want and what timeframe for the tune. Once you get the five, the person in charge should contact Steve Kan to see what openings he has for tuning. I suppose a Saturday is best for all?

For reference, here's a copy and paste from the NoVa Steve Kan thread:
Steve Kan Tune Session Pricing:
- $350: Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only); 1 map
- $400: Aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only); 1 map
- $450: Aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only); 1 map
- $600: Aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune); 2 maps
By doing so, it'll allow Steve to gauge time allocation to the consumer instead of rushing on those that needed more attention in the map.
Estimated time frames allocated for each type of tuning:
- Stock turbo: 45 min – 1.5 hrs
- Aftermarket turbo (pump gas): 1 hr – 2.5 hrs
- Aftermarket turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection): 2 – 4 hrs
- Aftermarket turbo (2 maps): 3 – 6 hrs

You need one more person to commit. Then one of you needs to be charge of the deposits. Maybe you can have Dentsport be in charge of that. Then contact Steve Kan to see what openings he has. Whatever deposit you send to him would be non-refundable.
smg44: The Dentsport dyno is a Dyno Dynamics Lowboy 450 that can handle up to 1000hp.

I already told him about this thread. Steve using their dyno is totally cool with him and DSG. They would also love to see Steve in action. I'll have him ask his bosses about holding the deposits for everyone. I think that once all five deposits are in DSG's hands, then all five of you, Steve and DSG will set a date. All five of you would then reconfirm your intentions, then the money would go out to Steve to guarantee the date... I kind of think that this will be a July thing at the earliest as we are almost halfway through May.
