I was looking at their turbo's looking to go bigger, but they are too cheap, which makes me wonder about the product quality and life of the product. I try to get the best price for the money... Anyone else has had any experience with them...

I've heard that they are good for piping and things like that but not so great for actual turbos. I had their MX6/Probe GT turbo manifold in my turbo MX-3 and it never gave me any problems whatsoever.

I bought an intake for my Protege5 from them back in the day. Typical ebay stuff. The piping/welds were OK, but I threw away the filter before I ever put it on my car.

I bought their stock mount IC for my FD a few years ago, man that thing was garbage! The piping was paper thin with crappy welds and the IC core looked like it took 5min to make. I would stay away from them all together.

I use their single tip catback on my ITS 2G racecar. It's THIN metal...really thin and is therefore loud as crap, but the welds are holding up fine. And I'd note it is IDENTICAL to the Corsksport exhaust short of the Corsksport nameplate on the tip...it's the same thing.

I dunno if I would go for the knockoff TiAL wastgates and BOV's though...you really do get what you pay for.

It's all Chinese knock-offs of other products. I'd be very careful of what you bolt up to your car, because trying to save a buck buying a cheap turbo could end up costing you a new motor when the thing flies apart and sends metal shrapnel into your motor.

That being said, I've been using the XS Poo eBay SMIC for a couple years without any problems on my stock-boosted FD. If that fails, though, about the worst thing that's going to happen is I'll have a boost leak.

there turbo's used to split under a good load, there waistgates will lock open or close but they will lock up sooner or later, there blow offs arent to bad but iv seen a few start having problems after a year or so, there manifold will crack if there not re-welded with support in it.. if i where you i would think about that old saying (you get what you pay for) if you realy would like to see proof of these things run a search on here and read the post that go back to 2002-2oo6 then after that google there name and see there history.

So basically to sum it up, use them at your own risk, only buy their piping/manifolds/intakes/exhaust stuff and then have a pro re check the welds and reweld to make sure everything is good!!!

Do not buy turbos/intercoolers and other "moving" components!!!

what the hell does this really mean anyway: BRAND NEW IN THE BOX SUPER T4 .60 .85?

What a load of junk. I'm surprised companies like Tial, HKS, etc don't sue them......

Oh, i got the A/Rs.......but where is the comp/turbine wheel inducer/exducer sizing? And why do they have 'SUPER' in front of everything, more like PUPER!

Edit: Dariel, here are 2 threads that have some good info:

Me thinks its good for paperweight, so no need for the exdurer/inducer mombo jumbo crap, i dont think it matters when you'll be replacing these every oil change

The problem I have seen with their manifolds is not only the quality of welds, but welding 2 different types of metal with the wrong electrode. Its not easy to weld Mild Steel(flange) to stainless(pipes). If they would use a electrode with a higher ferrite then they might hold up a little better. If I was going to get one personally, I would ask them to send the pre bent pipes and flanges unweldede(hopefully for a discount) then weld it my self. The only problem with that would be warping of hte flange from the heat and different expansion rates of the metals. Then I would have to take it to a machine shop to get milled.

Now that I think about it, it would save you time and money to get a higher quality one.

Disclaimer: I taught myself to weld using a little CH Mig welder, if my terms are wrong or my explanation is bad sorry, it sounded good in my head.
