Xs Power Turbo Kits From Ss Auto Chrome

I am looking for a rating on these T4 kits. The price seems too good for the product to be any good. I was wondering if any of you have used them and if you have how well they worked and HOW LONG they worked. Thanks for the help guys!

The quality is to poor. I had two friends test them out one on an integra and a civic. The turbo on the integra broke, the housing just split in half, i have never seen that before. While the turbo on the civic never broke and ran perfectly fine. Both cars were smashed on daily. I guess my buddy with the civic got the lucky end out with his car still working.

I haven't used one myself, but a buddy with a DSM had one of the housings split, like importedboi's friend. I'd save up the few extra bucks for something reputable.

You get what you pay for with those kits. All parts involved are sub par in the quality department.

There are several other alternatives you could go with. But first there are some questions we need answered in order to better help you. What kind of price range can you afford, what kind of turbo do you want ie. fast spool with good power or later spool with huge top end, and how much power do you want to make?

Go with a hybrid setup for the best bang for the buck. Its like 700 bucks and you can get 300+ whp! If you have a strong turbo.

That site is pretty hot! I must say stock hook up and T04B pretty sweet, the prices are a little better than I had thought with that application as well! I am still big on comparing though (I would also like some input on BNR as well). Thanks again for the help everyone!

your going to hear nothing but good reviews on BNR for the price, not as good as a full single but hard to beat for the price.

I prefer true T04 setups, but you will not beat BNR's prices or customer service. They offer a great product at a very affordable price. And I doubt you'll find anyone on this forum that will disagree with that statement. For affordable full T04 setups, PM Bobybeach on this forum and tell him I sent you. He is a MasterPower dealer and has great prices.

i bought a turbo from SSautochrome once...i ordered it from there site. I had a s14 at the time, and and i ordered the Disco French Fry t28... they sent me a "t34r." It was alot bigger than the french fry, so i wasnt to mad. it was Also Ball bearing...so i was loving life...till i put it on my car and it seized in about 5min of driving. Some one stripped one of the three screws that held the oil seal in, so it backed itself off and hit the comppressorr blade. its hit or miss, good luck

i wouldn't say BNR's prices are unbeatable but he certainly has the best reputation for building hybrids for our cars. i picked up a Garrett wheel/Turbonetics housing hybrid for $440, though on the slightly smaller side of hybrids the price was more than fair but a gamble since i had no idea how well it would work but it's been in the car and beat on for close to a year now with no problems.

I'm very impressed with my stage IV bnr. It spools quickly and makes the rx7 really wake up compared to the stock small *** turbo. Bryan has always been very cool and helpfull when it comes to customer service so absolutely if your thinking about getting a hybrid bnr is the company to go to. He is the onlyrx7 hybrid builder I know of that actually knows rotary engines and drives rx7's daily so you know he isn't just making something that "should" make power.

few pics of the bnr's I've had. This is a stage III. Pretty damn cool how big he ports the wastegate.

one of the compressor side.

Few of the stage IV with the stock hotside bored out to the ptrim wheel for better flow.

compressor...

Full to4 is definately the route to go.

When that P trim is shoved in the stock turbo, what does the a/r come out to be?
