got fired dave...my own stupidity to be honest with you. and no I did not hit anything or run somebody over.

and I kept the job at chrysler jeep for a year until they cut my pay by 7 percent. I lost on average 200 bucks on every sold car.

plus I am at ford and dodge now and I am making much better money now.

Lunch was great today. Enjoyed it very much, even with a mild hangover.

Not yet, had a bunch of crazy **** go down at work that forced my attention away. I pulled the plugs on the front and it definitely is missing two of those apex seal things ;p

well in my half drunkin state over the weekend I felt like a complet piston head with my rotary.... one of my buddys wanted to go get some more mixers around 4pm so i jumped on the chance to drive. As we go out of the bumpy driveway I nailed the gas only to get low boost and instead of a blow off valve "woooosh" when I shifted I get a sound like i had an Owl underneath my car. every time i shifted i got the same owl sound ..... it was nuts. so the next day when im sober, I go to look for the problem and i remember Dave saying.... "if you ever have a problem with boost always check the coat hanger wire first..." lol so i check and sure enough it had popped off on the bumpy dirt road. damnit ... I thought i was getting kinda savy at this rotary ****....

I don't recommend driving rx-7's drunk or half drunk or whatever. That's a surefire way to **** **** up...

haha yeah I figured that one out. i dont really recommend them on bumpy roads. It wasn't so much the alcohol as the 2 miles of unseeable potholes, gravel, and middle of the road ditches. the "drunkin" part was more or less to signify that this all happened on Momorial day.

I use to have a VW pickup that everytime I'd get drunk and start driving wild the car would shut off. It was a nice feature.
It was a loose connection on the back of the fuse panel connected to the fuel pump.

Yea, I lost my liscense for DUI 30 years ago in a Datsun 240Z. They took it away for a year. That was a hard learned lesson. Being 19 without a liscense SUCKED! I was having a little too much fun in that Z.

I used to have a buddy who had this Ford Fairmont which we apptly named "The Dirt Rocker" Aside from the awesome backfire you could get out of it. It also had some faulty wiring and occasionally the lights (all of them) would just turn off out of no where.
Boy that was fun. Especially if you had dropped a couple of hits of acid and drank a twelve pack of Beast after spending all night in DC. Sometimes wonder how we made it past the age of 21.

What year Z? A tech at work has a yellow 72 240Z with the body kit that most run around with, unlike most people that I see, he didnt do the V8 swap. Kept the inline 6 2.4L, stroked it to a 2.8 (basically L28) ,12:1 compression, tripple webber 40 dcoe side draft carbs, cannon intake manifold, 6-1 header, 3" exhaust, msd ignition, spec 6 puck clutch, 100 shot nitrous, mild cam, ported head, oversized valves, 4.11 gears on a 13" tire. Car weighs 2475 lbs with driver. Car runs on alcohol and talk about fun. Never went to track yet on this setup (soon though)
