So I was coming off the triboro bridge onto the gcp where the lanes get real narrow and this f'ing ford e350 van is on my left. I'm in the middle lane and he is in the left lane. His bumper is about where my gas cap is....then all of a sudden I feel a bump sideways in the rear. I look in my drivers side mirror and I see his headlights veering right and left...the bastard hit me at about 40 mph. Then I slow down to about 30 mph still in the middle lane to tell his *** to pull over but he stays behind about 100 feet going the same speed...eventually he passes me after a few minutes and his d*ck passenger just shrugs at me when he passes. The d*cks dont pull over and I follow them to northern blvd exit and follow them up main street. Finally I get next to them right before main and kissena intersect heading south and scream at them to pull over. They act like nothing is wrong and when I threaten to call the cops they agree to pull over.

Cops come and they first claim nothing happened and show the cops there is no real damage on their vehicle. I look at my damage (scraped up rear panel right behind the tire and scrubbed up rear marker light) and figure out its the same height as their wheel or bumper. What sucks is their bumper is already beat up. Then they tell the cops a second story about me passing them real fast on their right. The cop said he didnt care what speed it was he only cared if there was an impact or not. The cops took both our stories and I am supposed to call the preceint tomorrow to get the report number.

I'm so pissed right now I need to sleep it off. I dont have full coverage and I dont even know what I am supposed to do insurance wise....never been in an accident before. Lying sons of bitches...I really hope the cop wrote in the report that those b*tches changed their story.

oooowww thats gotta hurt. If your insurance sees it as your fault you gonna have to pay for it plus they gonna raise your insurance. good luck

wtf, you let me him stay behind you for a few minutes? what were you thinking?? You should have thrown your hazzard lights on and pulled over compleatly. If he didn't follow, then you should have chased after him. Since you didn't pull over the guy probably thought to himself you were cool with getting hit, or that you probably had no insurance or something. Damn, goood luck..

Damn I live right off Kissena. The best thing to do is give the guy Street Justice. Drive around with a bat and blow their front and rear windshields whenever you get into a situation like that . Trust me it's not worth going through insurance. You're better off trying to fix it out of your own pocket. I tell you there has been many times where a fool has come close to hitting my car and I pull up next to them and they act like I have a problem. The way I drive now is I try to not let cars get too close to me. I'm always glancing at my rear view mirrow like every couple of seconds and always ready to downshift to avoid any potential hits.

yeh now im pretty calm about it...im most likely not going to file w/insurance because its such minor cosmetic damage that its not worth raising my premium. in any case, ima check out the police report first to see what they wrote.

ima keep my eye out for that blue van in flushing from now on.

That is really f'd up.

I suggest you carry a bottle of old brake fluid with you, and when you find the van, pour it all over the left-rear of their van. They'll understand what happened, and it won't attract bystander attention like, say a bat shattering glass.

as for insurance, maybe just threaten the guy adn have him give you the cash. make sure you have all his info, telephone number address license plate license number and all that. then get it looked at and quoted. then eitehr sue the guy for it or get the cash from him...

kick his *** man, i would find where he lives, drive up and beat his *** sideways so hard, he would think 3 times before ever driving within freekin 50 feet of my car. Had situations where guy cut uss off, so we get in front of him, he gets out of the car wtih 3 friends and comes up screaming his *** off, we get out, no questions asked drop him on the ground, end of that, we drive off happy, he doesnt drive off at all. but yeah, that sucks what happened man, hope it turns out alright, wher was this anywya? maybe a type of area, why would anyone do that anyway? people like that deserve to get their asses handed to em.

I'd like to do that but he could tell them I cut them off and say that I hit him even though the impact is in the rear of my car and front of his...also there is no visible damage on his van...its either that damn bumper or his damn tire....both of which are as high as the point of impact on my car. its very minor cosmetic damage for me...no bodywork needed.

so far i like the brake fluid idea the best......not about to crack the skull of a 45-yr old man. If I was 45 then maybe a diff story.

Yes it will, NY is a "no fault" insurance state, so both parties insurance goes up, in essence it's a "everyones at fault" insurance state.

Right by LGA and if want ill come thru and well **** up his car even more, to let that **** know u dont ******* hit someone and act like its nothing, and try to blame it on the victim **** that. If i was you i woulda knocked that dude in the face, i dont kare how old ya are if u fresh liek that ima put u in ya place **** that. I had one guy almost sideswipe me i chased this dude all over jamica all the way to nassau conty i didnt let up. Dude got so desperate he was eating lights so i let him go.

One taxi driver hit me on 3rd ave by 53rd, then he kept driving like **** it, its a old *** car. So i chased him down and cut him off cop style got out my car broke his window kicked his *** and drove off.

Thats how ya gotta handle ure bizness man. Dont matter what car im driving. U hit me u better pull over or ima hurt you.

Same **** a cop goes thru. Hes pulling u over for a red light and u speed off and ****, by the time he catches u hes all heated cause u dissed him by driving off. Same **** u get hit dude acts like it aint **** and keeps driving. BUST FOME ******* HEADZ.
