damn dude.. thats *****, im too worried about cops and ****. the fastest ive done was ~120 on 288 racing my friend in a 4door accord. i thought it was the 100 mark i was doing because the sun was in my face. 120 is still crazy.. just hope you dont have any run ins because 120 crazy

I have some bad news...depending on the time of the dyno, I might not be able to make it...but I am going to try and win money to make up for the lost opportunity!

It also depends on when/if I leave town...

 

This is nuts...now I may not go out of town at all and be able to make it!!

i dont believe it, i can't believe its happening. This is probably the greatest day of my life. I get to bring my car up!!!!!!!!!!!!. NOW I get to get my *** kicked honorably, and with cool cars to boot. I know I probably suck at auto-x. But yea, I come up this sunday and im beyond excited. I can barely take it. Im sorry its just that all last semester i dreamed of this and now it happens ^_^

Hmmm... I know a Paul at my school that used to have a car like that, or maybe he still has it? I don't know. Anyway, it was a mirage converted to an evo and it actually looked pretty good, on the outside that is. His last name is Malcom or something like that. Same guy?

Edit - I think it is the same guy, because I recognize that license plate. Cool stuff...

 

Not snake road i used to love that road we used to ride down in at night with the headlights off then one day i wrecked right where you can branch off to go to walthall,that was years ago now its a little wider,my cousin used to live about 1/2 mile from point of rocks park(the good ole days).Take some pics for me sat. im still working on my car i got pissed and went out and bought a compressor,and a 3/8 impact,but that didnt work(need more *** behind it) i should of got a 1/2 impact but i opted for the 3/8 it was cheaper and lot smaller so now i have to pull the radiator to get the 1/2 impact in there.I got my FPR in the mail today and my fuel pump is supposed to be here tues.Im off tues-thurs. so i will definatly have it done by then.

dude.. thats crazy, his name is paul malcomb, and he transfered to my school this year. you dont see many mirage's going around with evo4 kits. the motor is a mirage motor, but he does have stuff done to it, even though obviously its more show than go, but hes one of the few people with a car that looks that good, and actually gets out and races around in it. it handles like a dream, just needs some more ***.


is everyone meeting up at rosen at 11? or a little before? what all do i need to do to get my car up on the dyno (never done it before)

 

Just you, the car, and about $40 should do it.

A little tid bit that I learned from experience: After your run, be sure to re-engage the emergency brake. I am sure someone else around here will be happy to say why I share this....
