Well, right now it's the only car I have that runs, so it won't be going anywhere soon, unless, like I said, it gets traded for a nice SUV.

Looks like NASA is doing an HPDE at the new track just north of Richmond, Dominion Motorsports Park.

I'll be there representing in my FD. Anyone else in the Richmond rota community planning to attend?

I didn't realize that track was open yet. I'll have to look into it.

 

They're still paving road course but have events scheduled for this year.

New FD owner here. Moved to Richmond in late October and am still trying to get my bearings. Any time I have to go south of the river I get lost and usually wind up in not great areas. So I avoid it at all costs.
The FD I got is a stripped down roller right now so it'll be a while before I get it on the road. I'll be checking on here for updates on meets/ gatherings once it's further along.
Anybody ever go to the Richmond dragway? From what I've seen online it reminds me of East Side in Waynesboro: A far cry from VMP or MIR.

The Starbucks Car Meet on our side of town has moved to the Starbucks on Forest Hill Avenue. Meets are every Friday night beginning at 8pm, and on the last Friday of each month we meet at the Starbucks in Westchester Commons.

 

Last Friday of the month! (4/24)
You know what that means, Stabucks meet at the location thats open late.
West Chester Commons, I'll actually be able to make this one.

Most of the original posters in this thread have moved away or no longer have RX7s. I moved to Raleigh a few years ago. At the time there were less than a handful of RX7 owners that would hang out.

 

I'm an fb owner. I usually meet up with the Japanese Classic guys at Starbucks north end Huguenot Bridge Friday nights around 8:00. Last Friday of the month they go to Westchester Commons.

 

There are a few guys that have showed up to the Cars and Coffee meets at Regency Square but most (myself included) are now on the dark side (norotors)

 

thanks for the updates. i was very close to buying a gtr from Japanese classics but decided to get what i missed and that was another FD haha

 

I mean just some kids (I'm old) who drive Japanese Classics. They're on Facebook, Japanese Classics of Va I think.

 

I'm in the blue fd. I've been to cars and coffee a bunch. There's a lot of rx7's in the area.

 

ill have to come out one day. i hoping get a few of us out and drive on skyline dr/dragons tail or something while the weather is nice and cool
