Suspension is installed, I will still be doing some tuning and such tomorrow though if anyone wants to come by. Depending on whether or not the other car in the garage is still being worked on, I will be installing the diff mount, dtss eliminators and steering endlinks. I will probably get started around lunch time if anyone wants to join. Call me for directions. 873.0688

damn straight- thank god it's not white

Mike the guy who was interested in the FD is coming with money in hand to get the FD this weekend.

I'd really like to have some basic reliable daily transportation instead of depending on two 17 year old sports cars with 150K miles on each of them.
As a bonus the wheels for the Miata and the Civic are directly swapable, same bolt pattern even the same offset

sorry, the guy was the first with an actual offer - we'll see if he actually comes through this weekend
besides you have a 7 that's prolly as fast as (if not faster than) the FD
but if you want watch Craigslist, I've seen some $5k-$6k nice rollers with popped motors show up or just keep an eye out for them on this site

and no one is going to knock getting an E46 M3, I'll bet Zack wishes he could afford one over that measly lil 330 of his

There are actually an *** ton of drift events throughtout 2007; Keep up with lookoutdrift.com.
I'm hoping by mid 07 I can enter the FC and it will be trackworthy.

Btw, guys, keep your eyes open for some good ol empty parking lots. I've got plenty of release from liability forms and more ready. I just picked up the owners number of a large vacant lot, and will be calling soon. Lets get this **** going already!

Since Mazda is being sweet and not hiring, I'll be working at the nissan dealership for more hours More hours = making teh fc suspenion happy!

i pmed you yusoslo.

Damn, i need to make it out to a meet again soon.

hey skizzle. Would be have to pay for these parking lots? That is sick if you can get access to to a area to practice. I have lots of tires that need burned up.

How does this protect us from the cops? Im sure even if we have permission they would still cite us for disturbing the peace......none the less lets get to drifting, start out with 5 or so people and see where it goes.

If it's a private event on a private lot and there are no noise complaints you should be fine, but I would call county police first and ask if there are local ordinences against it or not.
I know you'll have a ton of trouble if the lot is in Chesterfield.

I wouldnt even jaywalk in chesterfield without expecting a ticket.

We need to look into industrial areas that are not visible from the road. that way you are not attracting attention and are far from residential areas.

Where are these places you have picked up on Skizzle? How bout the parking lot at RIR where we auto-x but do it on non event friday nights or saturday afternoons. Those neighbors are used to having noisy cars, and the cops wouldnt think twice about cars racing there.

RIR's is under some major reconstruction right now, supposedly they'll be done by March
Which will double the paved space VMSC can run on. Youknow the dirt area in front of the grandstands adjacent to where we ran last year ? - paved
