Theres this meet going on Saturday March 12 2011 that should be pretty interesting. From what I gather this is a local meet open to all makes and models but I dont want to be the only RX-7 so come out and support the rotary community! Heres the facebook page with all the info.

Since the weather seems to be turning for the better, I was hoping to get another meet together with some of the cars from the Springfield mall meet last weekend. Springs almost here and..who doesn't like to BBQ and show off their cars???

Last time we had a great turn out and I hope people can make this one as well:

I'm going to snag one of the first come first serve picnic area's that fits maybe 20-30+ people but you could come and leave as you want, they have pay spots but I'm cheap!!! I will be getting there around 9am because thats when the park opens come join me early if you want.

-Again there will be NO burn outs, drifting , loud music, Reving of engines & unfortunately the Fairfax County Parks DON'T allow any alcohol on the grounds.

Now this BBQ is only going to be as good as you make it, so bring stuff to share!! Drinks and whatever you can. I'm planning on bringing some Hot dogs and burgers to keep it simple also some charcole and maybe my tail-gate tent to keep some shade. But please try to contribute whatever you can (example: extra grill, charcole/gas, drinks, chips, plates, napkins, condiments, Ice, coolers & whatever else you can think of....)


After we are ready to leave, hopefully get a nice cruise in (**not racing just for legal documentation**) to Gravelly Point off of GW parkway in DC/ or plan something else.

Hope to see everyone come out, and cross your fingers for good weather!!



Directions: To reach Occoquan, exit off I-95 onto Route 123 north, follow 123 north 1.5 miles to park entrance on right.

Looks to be 80-100 people coming so lets all come out and have some fun!!

If anyone would like to creat a meeting spot so we can all cruise together that would be awesome too.

 

Only a few day left before the meet people! The weather is going to be perfect, its a great excuse to get your 7's out of hibernation.

 

Count me in be nice to finely get my FD out there, are you going to bring anything?

 

Food wise no, but I'm coming with a few friends and a rambunctious Siberian husky lol.
