I hope that when your car is at your house, a tree doesn't fall on it, or some other uncontrollable accident/disaster. More than likely, if the adjuster comes and sees that your residence does not have a garage as stated, your claim will not be honored. Then you will be S-O-L.
On another note, it's people like you that cause insurance rates to sky-rocket ..... thanks.

the main reason is demographic liability. most insurers will drastically lower your rates after 25. why? statistically, 25 is a turning point in most peoples lives/maturity level. i can continue, but whats the point. it won't change anything.
i've had my fd for nearly 7 years, most of that was under the age of 25. just lay low and stay out of trouble.

my haggerty policy has my car as "E" for exotic.
i just got my car inspected. you need to go to the DMV office first and get a "collector car voucher". that is $25 for initial, or $10 to renew. Then bring voucher, and all other items (bring your collector car policy just in case) to the inspection station EXIT. talk to the dude and he'll check your odometer and send you around the block to make sure your odo works. DONE. the month on the new inspection sticker will match the month on your registration expiration.

I am tempted to do this myself but I have concerns about mileage and price. My insurance on the FD is $300 a year now. Also would I not be able to drive more than 3k miles.
Inspection currently costs me $50 every two years for the FD. Am I missing any other advantages?
