That makes you emissions exempt? I don't see how? I have collectors insurance on my 85 through American collectors, the state can care less about what insurance you have as long as you have it. In CT you have to be 25 years to get collectors plates and no emissions.

there is no age limit if you say its a show car:
"Historic vehicles at least 25 years old, used only for
exhibition purposes or manufactured before 1945, require a
special registration and a QQ plate displayed on the rear
of the vehicle.
"Collector cars display two standard license plates and
have a triangular decal on the front left windshield that
are valid for two years. The owners must provide proof of
miles driven annually (3,000 miles or less) and special
insurance (limited use collector vehicle) and renew this
status every two years, or if owners change."

AND you have to have an enclosed garage.
I tried getting on hagerty and i told them i live on a dead end street and my driveway goes into the rear of the house where the car would be parked under a cover when not in use. They didnt allow it. You HAVE to have a garage.

O well.
I live 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, no emissions. Although they do now have a visual supposedly but they never do it and there's no way they can tell what should be on a rotary anyway.
so to get this no emissions collectors car thing i have to:
A) have an enclosed garage to keep it in
B) do less then 3k miles a year
C) get insurance from grundy or haggarty
How do you prove mileage? Odometer reading?
hmm if thats all it takes im getting my t2 and fd on that setup.
kevin.
