come on lame donkeys. no posts or anything? seriously. So i installed the tokico illumas with intrax springs. I had them set on 5 but had to turn them down to 3 due to these damn NE roads. Anyone else got something to say?

 

I cant realy spend money on my car right now so its a halted project.

Ive got half the car rewired with my new chassie harness , just have to do the headlight's and retractor motors, then i can drop the enterior back in. just need to buy some material to make up some exhaust components then everything should fall together. already have everything else for the rebiuld, all the material for my exhaust mani etc etc, just need a few fuel components a shitload of paint and some reasonably dry days with free time

 

I got my Konis and Eibach installed!!! Yahoo!!! It is like a totally new car!!

I'd love to, I'll bring the 8 since the 7 isn't back on the road yet. I'm still searching for the correct bolt/pins for the car. I ordered a set from the parts store and they would fit my friends -se but not the GSL rear I have.

I've been building up my 83 gsl for about 5 years now... actually have had some time to work on her this past year. I live down in NJ now but I still head up to southern NH to do work and see the family often. If anyone is interested I have an 83 GSL parts car that is complete (minus the engine I pulled for a rebuild) I'm not using it anymore, for those interested pm me and i'll send pics. That car is parked in southern NH just south of Milford.

Anywho, hope everyone is enjoying the few days of non rain that we've had so far!

I've been away alot this summer, but it was ok because it rained so much. Still loving the new shocks and springs.

My wife backed into my car and dented the drivers side front fender and door. Can anyone recommend a body shop in the Keene area?

 

Ive been wicked slow at work and am got cut to part time so ive spent zero money on the FC all summer.

At the same time a friend of mine and myself have started a snowboard business, few hours a night almost every night a week on that is taking alot of my time up as well. However $ i make from that will fund snowboarding and my car additions so its worth it

Heck ya spring is in the air, and the 7 is back on the road, tho i need to replace my axles seals now. But that'll be quick. The important part is the brakes are installed and working, tho I had to have the bolt/pins for the rear calipers made by a machinist friend of mine.

anyone got any 1st gen parts? i need like a pair of red or black sun visors and at least a passenger side tail light for '85 GSL....

 

I might have what you're looking for... I have an 83 gsl parts car that is complete... minus the engine.

I was actually going to post up the entire parts car plus any parts in my garage that the buyer would be interested. The shell of the car is not the best... it has a large dent behind the drivers door and the passenger rear wheel well has rust. I've been using it to pull random odds and ends that I never knew I would need. Anywho, if you want to see some pics, pm me your email and i'll send them your way. I'm down in NJ right now but the car sits in southern NH... i'm up that way at least once a month... Let me know

i guess im good with the little parts for now, but im workin on getting my TII motor installed in my '85, im still in need of a GSL-SE front cover. id rather not buy a new one but hope to find a used one.... anyone?

 

I am looking at buying an rx7 in wakefield, NH. If anybody has any leads on the car i would greatly appreciate it!

Or if you are in the area, could you help me check it out because i am a rotary noob.

Its a 88GXL with some mods, maybe you have seen it or know the owner...

I bought it! The next morning it was on a trailer and wouldnt start...but i got it running, registered, inspected, and insured all that day! whoo hooo it needs some interior parts and a paint job, but besides that its solid!

If anyone lives in VT let me know...
